Code Consultation 2026

On the 5th of August 2026, the Government Commission published proposed amendments to the German Corporate Governance Code and opened them for consultation.
Below you will find the draft Code with integrated explanatory notes on the proposed amendments.

You have until 4th of September 2026 to participate in the consultation. You may submit your statement to regierungskommission@dcgk.de. Please note that your statement will be published on the website after the consultation period ends. When submitting your statement, please indicate whether you consent to publication.

You may withdraw your consent to publication at any time. Please also refer to our general privacy notice at https://www.dcgk.de/en/privacy.html, which we can provide to you in hard copy upon request.
